We are proud to offer our Smoking Cessation Project in association with National Public Health Wales.
What makes our service different to other Smoking Cessation Services?
As ever, we are flexible – we understand you can’t plan for everything and sometimes things don’t go as you’d hope, our Smoking Cessation Worker is here to help – to talk things through and get you back on track.
Through the service you will be given 1:1 support for as long as you need, learn the effects of smoking and how it impacts your health. Understand cravings – the physical and mental – learn how to deal with these without smoking.
Regular Carbon Monoxide monitoring is a simple way to track your progress – you can see the numbers reduce as your health increases!
Once you’re happy that you don’t need the scheduled support again (we’re still there to talk whenever you need us though!) peer support can be arranged to keep you motivated and off the cigarettes.
We’ve been amazed with the commitment of our quitters this year and can’t wait to see what’s next for you guys! We’re also looking forward to motivating more people to take the steps towards a healthier, happier, smoke-free life and to celebrate their success too!
