Volunteering

Within the Resource Centre our Volunteers help us to provide a consistent, happy and encouraging environment, they also support our staff team with the practical jobs like cooking, making teas and coffees and maintaining our level 5 Food Hygiene Certificate.

Volunteers enable us to provide events like the Christmas Fayre where 90 Christmas Dinners and puddings were enjoyed!

Our invaluable counselling service is also provided solely by Volunteers – thank you both for your commitment!

Out in the community our Volunteers work with you to encourage more social activities – plenty of walking (with dogs and otherwise), telephone support, fitness activities and a few coffees here and there!

Over the coming year our Volunteers hope to get even more involved by developing some new group opportunities like creative writing and music too – we can’t wait to get started!

If you think that you could help in some way, why not chat with our Volunteer Coordinator Sami Robinson who would love to hear from you!
